Investec has been named the winner of the Community Impact category in the prestigious 2012 Business Charity Awards. The company fought off stiff competition from other big-name businesses to claim the prize for its four-year partnership with the Bromley by Bow Centre in East London.

Three opera stars rehearse their lines on top of Investec Wealth & Investment’s London offices to mark the launch of the 2012 Opera Holland Park season.  Taking place in the grounds of the park, Opera Holland Park, which is sponsored by Investec Wealth & Investment, seeks to open up opera to new audiences.  Packed into 58 days Opera Holland Park’s sixteenth season opens on 7 June 2012 and runs until 4 August and includes performances of Donizetti’s ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’, Mozart’s ‘Così fan tutte’, Tchaikovsky’s ‘Eugene Onegin’, Verdi’s ‘Falstaff’, and a double of Puccini’s ‘Gianni Schicchi’ with a rare staging of Mascagni’s ‘Zanetto’.
