The Investec World League semi final is the biggest international hockey event of the year, and sees England play host to a number of world ranking teams; China, Italy, USA, Australia, Spain, South Africa and Argentina who are currently ranked number 2 in the world.

The tournament takes place at the Quentin Hogg Memorial Ground, University of Westminster, Chiswick from Saturday 22 June to Sunday 30 June 2013

The Investec Hockey World League provides the ideal platform for these teams to build on their successes from the 2012 London Olympic Games, and acts as a qualifying competition for the 2014 World Cup.

Having the Investec World League Semi Final in London will be fantastic for players and spectators alike. The support during the Olympics was incredible and we are delighted to have gained a lot of new fans who will be able to come and watch us in action again. Home support can make all the difference to our performances and we can’t wait recreate the Riverbank atmosphere all over again. Hosting this tournament really shows the legacy of London 2012 starting to take shape for our sport.
